Matthew 19 ~ 20

19:16And behold, someone came to Him and said, Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life? Compare
19:17And He said to him, Why do you ask Me concerning what is good? There is only One who is good. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments. Compare
19:18He said to Him, Which ones? And Jesus said, "You shall not murder; you shall not commit adultery; you shall not steal; you shall not bear false witness; Compare
19:19Honor your father and mother; and you shall love your neighbor as yourself." Compare
19:20The young man said to Him, All these things I have kept. What do I still lack? Compare
19:21Jesus said to him, If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in the heavens; and come, follow Me. Compare
19:22But the young man, hearing this word, went away sorrowing, for he had many possessions. Compare
19:23And Jesus said to His disciples, Truly I say to you, Only with difficulty will a rich man enter into the kingdom of the heavens. Compare
19:24And again I say to you, It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. Compare
19:25And when the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and said, Who then can be saved? Compare
19:26And looking upon them, Jesus said to them, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. Compare
19:27Then Peter answered and said to Him, Behold, we have left all and followed You. What then will there be for us? Compare
19:28And Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you that you who have followed Me, in the restoration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you also shall sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. Compare
19:29And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields for My name's sake shall receive a hundred times as much and shall inherit eternal life. Compare
19:30But many first will be last, and many last first. Compare
20:1For the kingdom of the heavens is like a man, who is a householder, who went out early in the morning to hire workmen for his vineyard. Compare
20:2And having agreed with the workmen for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard. Compare
20:3And he went out about the third hour and saw others standing idle in the market place, Compare
20:4And to those he said, You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you. And they went. Compare
20:5And again he went out about the sixth and the ninth hour and did likewise. Compare
20:6And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing, and said to them, Why have you been standing here all the day idle? Compare
20:7They said to him, Because no one has hired us. He said to them, You also go into the vineyard. Compare
20:8And when evening fell, the master of the vineyard said to his steward, Call the workmen and pay them their wages, beginning from the last ones to the first. Compare
20:9And when those hired about the eleventh hour came, they received each a denarius. Compare
20:10And when the first ones came, they supposed that they would receive more. And they themselves also received each a denarius. Compare
20:11And when they received it, they murmured against the householder, Compare
20:12Saying, These last ones worked one hour, and you have made them equal to us who bore the burden of the day and the scorching heat. Compare
20:13But he answered one of them and said, Friend, I am doing nothing unrighteous to you. Did you not agree with me for a denarius? Compare
20:14Take what is yours and go. I want to give to this last one even as I have given to you. Compare
20:15Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with what is mine? Or is your eye evil because I am good? Compare
20:16Thus shall the last be first and the first last. Compare
