• 6:1And one Sabbath He was going through the grainfields, and His disciples were picking and eating the ears of grain, rubbing them in their hands. Compare
• 6:2And some of the Pharisees said, Why are you doing what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath? Compare
• 6:3And Jesus answered them and said, Have you not even read this that David did when he became hungry, he and those who were with him; Compare
• 6:4How he entered into the house of God, and taking the bread of the Presence, he ate it and gave some to those with him, which is not lawful for anyone to eat except the priests alone? Compare
• 6:5And He said to them, The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath. Compare
• 6:6And on another Sabbath He entered into the synagogue and taught. And there was a man there, and his right hand was withered. Compare
• 6:7And the scribes and the Pharisees were watching Him closely to see if He would heal on the Sabbath, so that they might find reason to accuse Him. Compare
• 6:8But He knew their reasonings and said to the man who had the withered hand, Rise and stand in the midst. And he rose up and stood. Compare
• 6:9And Jesus said to them, I ask you, Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save a life or to destroy it? Compare
• 6:10And looking around at all of them, He said to him, Stretch out your hand. And he did, and his hand was restored. Compare
• 6:11But they were filled with rage and discussed with one another what they might do to Jesus. Compare
